Leaving for the Russia Moscow Mission

The time has arrived! On Wednesday, June 23, 2010, Stephen and I enter the MTC in Provo, Utah, for our final instructions and preparation before we depart to preside over the Russia Moscow Mission. We were called last October to this unbelievable calling and these last eight months have flown by. Almost every type of emotion and feeling are flowing through me. I am very grateful for this opportunity to serve as a missionary, but overwhelmed at the huge responsibility that lies ahead of us. It's been very humbling to think that the Lord has this type of trust in us to be stewards over these wonderful missionaries in Moscow. We are eager to be with them, to learn and feel of their incredible spirits and to love them. How blessed we will be!

I invite you along, through this blog, on our incredible journey to Moscow to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in that great land.

  1. "Russian Moscow Mama" what a hoot! What a marvelous Sacrament Meeting/Farewell. Thanks for all you have done for us and so many others. You will be sorely missed, but hopefully this blog will take the edge off of missing you. We can hardly wait to hear of your next experiences, and the next, and the next. Your missionaries are going to love you dearly, and hate to leave you when their own time is up.
Our hearts are with you. May the blessings of heaven precede each and every step you take.
    Our love and gratitude,
    Vince and Michelle
